Children's Ministry at St. Andrew's

Sunday School

Children hard at work!

The Sunday School ministry at St. Andrew’s offers an engaging, hands-on approach to learning Scripture.  The children begin their time of worship with their families in the Sanctuary, then they are led to Sunday School during the singing of the first hymn and return after the offering to share their experience with the "big church".

Our curriculum is tailored to meet the multiple levels of  intelligence of our diverse group of students in this ever changing world, while teaching them the fundamental, age-appropriate building blocks of faith:

During worship every Sunday morning, children and their teachers engage in dynamic Bible lessons, activities and music.

All classes are taught by trained volunteers, under the leadership of our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Brittany Borges.

Children's Music

If your child has a love for music, St. Andrew’s is the place to be. The Kristal Ringers provides opportunities for our children and youth to express their love of God through voice and instruments.  Choristers learn to read music, develop good singing habits and appreciate the many styles of sacred repertoire. Our children and youth are featured frequently in Sunday worship and on special occasions (Christmas/Easter).  We welcome all children and youth to celebrate God’s gift of music.

All music ministry at St. Andrew's is under the direction of Devon Hansen.

Volunteer to be a Sunday School Teacher

One of the most enriching ways to strengthen the Church and learn more about God is to serve as a Sunday School teacher.

Experience is not required; all you need is a love of children and a desire to help them grow in faith. You may volunteer for a few weeks or an entire year; any time commitment is appreciated.

For information, or to sign up, please contact our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Brittany Borges.
