  • What should I wear?
Come as you are! We want you to feel comfortable when you join us for a worship service. People wear anything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual.
  • Where do I park?
There is limited parking right beside the church, but thankfully there are lots of free parking lots near by. The Dutch Market across the street, and the Downtown Chatham Mall both have free parking on Sunday mornings. If you have mobility concerns, please use the parking lot beside the church and enter through the Garden Doors.
  • What door should I go in?
There are several doors into our building. Most people enter through the angled sanctuary door that faces North toward the intersection of Wellington and William streets or the door through our Memorial Garden. Level-entry access is through the Memorial Garden door, or the Church Office door on the south side of the building. Once inside, follow the signs pointing to the Worship Space. If you would like to use the ramp instead of stairs into the sanctuary, you will find it in the north hallway near the washrooms and kitchenette.
  • Is your building accessible?
Yes. The office door off of Church Street is accessible for people with mobility concerns, as well as the door to the Garden pointing toward Wellington St. Once inside there is a ramp to get to the sanctuary. If you would like to get to Fellowship Hall, there's a ramp by the church offices.
  • What should I expect?
Our worship services includes times of singing, praying, scripture reading and a message from the minister and lasts approximately 60 minutes. Our music is accompanied on the pipe organ and/or piano and our choir or soloists provide special music as well. The words of prayers and lyrics for songs are displayed on two large screens at the front of the worship space so it is easy to follow along. If you have hearing concerns, we will provide you with assistance, just ask one of our greeters.
  • What about kids?
We offer Sunday School for children aged 4-12 during our Sunday Service. Children are encouraged to sit with their parents for the first few minutes of the service, then are invited to join our Family Ministry Coordinator at the front for a short Children's Time. Then they will head out to the Sunday School wing with our Youth Leaders. For our littlest friends, there is a Nursery just across the hall from the Worship Space doors just to the left of the stage.
