WHAT IS SATURDAYS AT 7?

Since 2013, Saturdays at 7 has been showcasing local, regional, and international talent in a variety of styles from classical to jazz and everything in between. From celtic reels to musical theatre ballads, from African- American spirituals to Christmas carols from around the world, the universal language of music is alive and well inside the walls of the historic sanctuary of St. Andrew’s.

What began on a hot June evening with a single concert has successfully evolved into a community gem for all of Chatham-Kent. Saturdays at 7 has presented over fifty concerts, showcased hundreds of performers of all ages and abilities, and has been supported by over 20,000 patrons from Chatham-Kent and beyond.

At each concert, a free-will offering is taken up at each concert with a suggested donation of $20.00.  Each of the concerts feature local, national, and international talent in a variety of musical genres.

Upcoming Saturdays at 7 Shows:

1) A Whole New World: Saturday, September 28, 2024

2) Nessun Dorma: Saturday, November 16, 2024

3) So This is Christmas: Saturday, December 7, 2024 (Presented at the Capitol Theatre)

Admission for Spotlight Series shows is by ticket only. Tickets are $30.00 or $25.00 if purchased the series. Tickets can be purchased in the church office, online, or at the door.

Spotlight Series Shows would not be possible without the support of our local sponsors. Please support these businesses who have supported the arts here at St. Andrew's.

YOUR DONATIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The vision of Performing Arts at St. Andrew's has always been to "create an accessible performing arts program for everyone. This includes people involved in the concerts, as well as the people who attend the concerts.

All the funds raised through concerts goes toward the music program at St. Andrew's. We want to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your donations, as well as your ongoing support. We are proud of what we have been able to contribute to the arts community in Chatham-Kent and look forward to continuing that in the future.

When you make a donation at a concert, you may ask yourself what that money goes towards.

  • Allows us to continue to bring quality musical entertainment to Chatham

  • Allows us to bring the Windsor Symphony Orchestra to Chatham

  • Supports local artists as we give them opportunities to perform

  • Allows us to invest in world-class instruments including our new Yamaha CFIII concert grand piano and our 1923 Casavant pipe organ

  • Allows us to invest in the overall structure of the church sanctuary to preserve its acoustics for generations to come

  • Supports the purchase of new music for all the ensembles
