OUTREACH
We at St. Andrew's United Church are proud of our Outreach program, both locally and globally. Monthly projects suggested by the committee are given amazing support from the congregation! Local Salvation Army assistance includes Care Packages for the Homeless, Toy and Food drives at Christmas and the Red Kettle Campaign. We address local and world hunger difficulties by supporting the Canadian Food Grains Bank, Chatham Outreach for Hunger and the Queen Elizabeth II School Breakfast program. Other charities receiving support include Kenesserie Camp, Habitat for Humanity, AIDS Support Chatham-Kent and the Chatham-Kent Women’s Center. Also, in addition to regular givings, we pledge approximately $25,000 to the National Mission and Service Fund of The United Church of Canada.

If you have a passion for helping others the Outreach Committee is a great way to share your talents.

BENEVOLENT FUND
The Benevolent Fund now provides financial support to the St. Paul's-Victoria Avenue Pantry Program that runs every Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

Clients are eligible for a food shopping card every 60 days; but clients are welcome to shop at the "pantry" each week.

Since start up in January 2007, St. Andrew’s members have generously supported this fund. Our church doors are always open to those in need.
